At Delenta, we are extremely grateful for our lovely community of friends and coaches. We love learning and hearing from industry professionals.
In this episode of ‘Conversations With Coaches’, we speak with Tokiso Nthebe.
Tokiso is a Financial Wellness coach and founder of TKO Consultancy. In this episode, Tokiso tells us all about how he inadvertently became a coach after clearing himself a path out of some bad financial decisions. Having experienced financial instability himself, Tokiso is dedicated to helping his clients grow, succeed and understand how to make positive financial decisions. By holding them accountable for their actions, Tokiso allows his clients to truly grasp the ins and outs of smart spending and guides them towards financial wellness. He is very passionate about coaching, talking to people and is likely to inspire anyone taking those first few steps into a new career in coaching!
This enriching conversation with Tokiso reminded us that it is always important to believe in yourself and what you’re capable of.
“Let’s believe in ourselves. Believe in your story. Remember to trust and believe in your skills.”
- Tokiso Nthebe
Tokiso explains how important it is to trust yourself. We all have a wide range of skills and shouldn't be afraid to use them in any given situation. By believing in ourselves, we are able to achieve great things whilst growing and learning new skills. So, go out there with your head held high and be proud of what you know rather than being scared of the unknown. Don’t be afraid to ask, to learn, and to help out. Networking is a powerful tool which can unexpectedly boost your career, don’t miss that opportunity!
Social media is a great way of networking, using your skills and sharing them. After struggling with finance and taking the right steps to get out of the mess he was in, Tokiso wrote a blog about his experiences and posted it on social media. Although he felt embarrassed about sharing his honest story with the world, his blog helped hundreds of people who also happened to be stuck in financial turmoil. His blog gained great success and people began asking Tokiso for financial advice. He soon became a successful coach, helping people achieve their goals and avoid financial stress.
Would you like to make a positive and lasting difference to others, just like Tokiso does? Would you like to craft a sustainable coaching business from the comfort of your own home?
Become the coach you’ve always wanted to be!
